Arctic Monarch Cosplay is composed of the sibling duo, Bec and Raph, a multi-talented pair of cosplayers born and raised in the great arctic state of Alaska. It’s been more than a decade since they took their first steps into the world of cosplay, and in that time they have competed and placed in many contests that fall within both that cosplay circuit in addition to more traditional sewing contests. While much of what they create and are best known for  is a combined effort between the two, Bec and Raph also have individually focused and honed their skills in areas such as sewing, props, and wig styling!

As far as cosplay identities go, Just Believe Cosplay is different from the norm. Though the cosplay journey began in 2015, Just Believe didn’t officially form until 2018. Consisting of a nerdy mom in her 40’s and two of her kids, the group has expanded to include friends of the family as well. As head of the group, Mom - aka Laura - does the bulk of the crafting and organization when it comes to conventions and events. She began simply with a humanized version of the Transformers character, Ratchet, but has since crafted cosplays for herself and the group spanning every kind of genre. Most notable are her award winning creations like Cassidy from Overwatch and Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones. Her most recent completed work has been the Mighty Thor from the Marvel universe. Semi-retired from competition herself, Laura enjoys encouraging others to try their hand at competition, and honing her skills at crafting. Though just about every facet of creating cosplay interests her, Laura enjoys armor and prop making the most and is looking forward to crafting many new creations with her Just Believe Cosplay family in the future.
